Holiday intensives
Concentrated programmes during the school holidays. Catch up, shore up weak topics, get ahead — or do a hands-on AI camp.
Two kinds of intensive
1 · Exam-prep intensives. A holiday spent concentrating on one exam — for example AEIS English, or O-Level / N-Level English and Chemistry. Using LearnUp's Bronze/Silver/Gold mock papers, students drill answering technique, timing and weak question types so they walk into the exam sharp.
2 · AI camps (2 days, hands-on). Practical camps for Primary (P4–P6) and Secondary (Sec 1–4). The Primary camp trains a working image classifier with Teachable Machine and Scratch; the Secondary camp covers practical AI literacy, prompt engineering, and building a small project. Both run in small groups and end with a project showcase.
Who it's for
Students who want to catch up, consolidate or get ahead over the break; and children who want to do something genuinely interesting and skill-building in the holidays — the AI camps need no prior coding or AI background.
When they run
Intensives run during school holidays, with dates set ahead of each break. To find out the next run, get in touch or note it on the signup form.
About your LearnUp tutor
LearnUp is a solo teaching practice. Every session is taught personally by Vivek Hathiramani, the founder and only tutor. Vivek writes all of LearnUp's material himself: the BLAST and SPARK writing frameworks, the FLARE argument framework, the comprehension and summary scaffolds, and the full Bronze/Silver/Gold mock papers for PSLE, N-Level, O-Level and AEIS English (and Secondary Chemistry). Many are free to download in the resource library. AEIS lessons are taught bilingually, in English and Mandarin.
