SPARK — Composition Framework
The follow-up to BLAST. A five-part scaffold for AEIS, PSLE, and O-Level narrative composition.
What's inside
SPARK turns the BLAST emotion paragraphs you have memorised into a complete narrative composition. Every well-written story moves through the same five beats — Setup, Problem, Apex, Resolution, Key takeaway — and SPARK names them so you can plan instead of guess. The first four paragraphs each carry one BLAST emotion; the fifth is reflective. This 14-page booklet walks you through studying the question, building the plan, writing each part, and ends with a worked example, a blank planning sheet, and three AEIS-style practice prompts.
How to use it
Follow the method in the workbook — read aloud, cover-and-recite, check, sleep on it, recite again the next morning. One paragraph per day, six days a week, finishes the workbook in under a month. On exam day, pick the paragraph that matches the prompt's emotion, swap the marked words, add a sentence either side. Done in under a minute.
